We are a mature (average age is in the 30s) fleet with widely varying degrees of MMO experience. Because we have responsibilities in the real world, we are a casual fleet who comes here to have fun and relax. We value our close-knit feel, and the teamwork and friendship that come with playing with a smaller group of people. Our admiralty are here to serve, not to give orders -- fleet activities are determined by fleet members. Participation in fleet events is never mandatory, and there is no minimum weekly time commitment. We have a broad range of MMO experience, from players who have played multiple games for many years to first-time MMO players. STO has mechanics in place to scale battles and reward veteran players who are helping newer players through lower-level content, and we make use of it.
